Right, kicking off the new forum with my traditional thread, use this one for general comments and anything not covered by other threads.

Enjoy :D

Has there been a better value offer in the UK this year than Sainsbury's 3 x Minced Beef Cobblers for £5?

copied from t'other place.

Copied from the other place....the dark side...there be dragons.

So this forum will have to survive on the 2nd best......Megan Fox.

Sorry, Bella has left the building. Run

Interesting that we can copy from one to the other, I sense all sorts of shenanigans in the future. Good to be in the right place again D4S. cheers

No sigh there goes another good idea down the drain, mind you, with the adverts that appear on telly now, Mr Lucas obviously needs the money, so maybe if I bung him a few notes?

Don't worry D4S, most people have a little bit of ginger in their tache. It's only very lucky people like me that can grow a totally grey one.

Right, I've got an early start tomorrow so I'm off to bed.

I'll sleep full of anticipation as to what I'll be presented with in the morning.

Part of me expects there to be no v2 v2 forum after the v2 Administrators realise we're having fun :(

simple solution, rearrange your office so that the back of your screen faces his direction of approach. Schoolboy error getting that one wrong.

Can't Freedom, poxy desk is set so my screen has to angle slightly and any attempts to adjust it make it blatantly look like I'm not doing any work. I of course want to give the impression I am doing at least some.

how about one of those privacy filter things that prevent anyone not looking directly at the screen from seeing anything.

Do a lot of WebExs and work on stuff with other people in the room so a screen thingy would make it awkward especially I have to keep taking it off and putting it back on again.

Post by 1grumpygolfer on Sat Dec 10, 2011 10:28 am

So today a woman at work (V) walks into my office and upon seeing me sitting at my desk says "are you here today?"

I look up at V and think how best to respond to that. V do you see me sitting at my desk. She bursts out laughing. V I'm going to do an impression of my boss right now. She laughs again and says oh you're going to tell me to get the flip out of here.

I smile and say no, V do you know how flipping stupid you sound right now. Am I here. She laughing harder now and struggling to catch her breath.

V: That's not what I meant I need you to scan something for me.
Me laughing: so why didn't you say that instead of ask me if I'm here no get the flip out of here.

She is a lovely woman but dumb as a bunch of rocks at times. She is a very good sport though and gives us plenty of entertainment

One that shows your nipple rings and tribal tattoo. Better still when combined with a tight pair of trousers to show off your mastercard.
